Stéphane Lalancette was born in Jonquière, Canada. He studied in actuarial science at Laval University, in Québec City. He worked in the Toronto area for about nine years before moving to Bermuda, where he has been living for a few years. In his free time, he practices Jujitsu, tennis, and resistance training.
